Head Coach - Michael Pileggi
Origins Weigtlifting clubs' Head Coach Michael Pileggi has over 20 years of experience as an athlete/coach, and is affiliated with the Australian Weightlifting Federation as a National Level coach, coaching lifters to national championships, as well as being involved in coaching roles for the Australian weightlifting squad. His keen approach to technique correction enables athletes to achieve a higher level in the shortest time possible.
Michael Pileggi has represented Australia as an athlete from 1999 - 2002, and is also 2 time national champion, and holds State records in 3 different weight divisions.

Origins weightlifting club is a training facility with the main focus on fostering a health training environment. to enable athletes to reach their full potential. We have a combination of premium quality rubberised training weights, with full rubberised flooring promotes a safe and effective training environment. all this will allow seasoned athletes to perform to their maximum potential.
Location - close to transport, and opposite St Brigids Primary School
With plenty of parking and full change room facilities at the midland speeddome, the Training facility is ideally located.
